Your Role: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll lead commercial activities across major contracts, ensuring profitable outcomes and safeguarding the company from financial risk. You will also provide valuable mentorship to junior team members, promoting excellence in service delivery and professional development. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all commercial aspects of contracts, developing robust systems and procedures to ensure consistent financial success. Monitor and analyse individual project performance through timely and accurate reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis. Collaborate closely with contract managers to drive financial success and mitigate risk. Prepare and review accurate sub-contract documentation, ensuring commercial compliance and clarity. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Manage the preparation and submission of accurate and timely payment applications and subcontractor payments. Certifications: Valid CSCS Card and a Full UK Driving Licence. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract administration. Experience: Strong background in the construction industry with hands-on knowledge of live projects, final accounts, and sub-contract management.
