About Norwood:
Founded in 1795, Norwood is the oldest Jewish charity in the UK, supported by Royal Patronage since 1815. We empower neurodiverse children, their families, and individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities to live their best lives.
We collaborate with local authorities to provide services including residential and supported living, short breaks, and family support groups.
About the Home:
The property comprises seven flats, each with two bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, a modern kitchen, and lounge. Located near the town center with shops and amenities, it is accessible by public transport and has a rear car park.
We support nine adults in their 40s to 60s with moderate to severe learning disabilities and Autism.

Support Worker Responsibilities:
* Promote independence and a fulfilling life for residents
* Support personal development through hobbies and interests
* Assist with appointments and daily routines
* Teach life skills like budgeting and shopping
* Support with personal care and medication administration
* Assist with household tasks
* Support hydrotherapy sessions
* Drive the home vehicle for outings and appointments
Essential Requirements:
* Experience supporting adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities
* Knowledge of safeguarding practices
* First Aid at Work Certificate
* Moving and Positioning Certificate
* Medication Administration Certificate
* Flexibility to work 36 hours/week, including weekends on a rota
* UK driving license held for at least 2 years
