The Opportunity Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for category management and shopper insight? Walkers Deli & Sausage Co., a proud part of Samworth Brothers, is looking for an experienced Category Manager to join our dynamic Commercial Team. With roots dating back to the 1820s and a strong track record of growth, we supply premium sausages, sliced cooked meats, BBQ, pté, protein snacks, and more to major UK retailers.
Lead the development and delivery of customer-focused category plans.
Drive regular market and category reviews with key retail partners.
Champion shopper insight and influence NPD briefs and internal processes.
Collaborate across teams to support the One Samworth approach.
Mentor and support Category Executives and contribute to team development.
Own merchandising strategies, data accuracy, and strategic planning.

Strong analytical skills with experience using EPOS, Kantar, Dunnhumby, etc.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
A collaborative, hands-on approach with a drive for excellence.
Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
A full UK driving license.
