Finance & Compliance Lead - £38,000-£45,000 & Bonus - Flexible Working We are on the hunt for a highly organised Finance & Compliance Lead to manage our internal financial processes and placement support function of the business. This is a hybrid role, combining financial operations (invoicing, payments, cashflow, reporting) with contractor management support (contracts, compliance documentation, timesheet monitoring, client onboarding), to ensure seamless operational delivery across all areas. Key Responsibilities - Financial Operations Invoice Management : Prepare client invoices, maintain payment records, chase overdue payments, and manage supplier payments. Cash Flow and Forecasting : Monitor and update rolling cash flow forecasts; provide weekly updates to leadership. Reconciliations : Perform monthly bank, VAT, payroll reconciliations, and maintain reconciliation records. Financial Reporting and Compliance : Maintain financial reporting processes (e.g., revenue trackers, aged debtors reports) and ensure compliance with internal and statutory requirements. External Coordination : Work with external accountants on management accounts and year-end financial submissions. Key Responsibilities - Placement Support & Compliance Contract Management : Draft and issue contracts to contractors and clients based on placement agreements. Compliance Oversight : Collect, verify, and maintain up-to-date compliance documentation and contractor files. Onboarding Support : Assist contractors through the onboarding process to ensure smooth starts. Timesheet and Expense Monitoring : Track contractor timesheets and expenses for accurate approvals and billing. Liaison and Record Maintenance : Act as a point of contact for contract or timesheet queries and maintain accurate placement records. What are we looking for? Financial and Contractor Support Experience : Proven background in finance operations and/or contractor support, ideally within recruitment or staffing. Contract Management and Compliance : Skilled in managing contract issuance and compliance, with knowledge of employment and contract law preferred. Technical Proficiency : Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Attention to Detail and Confidentiality : Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage sensitive information professionally. Communication and Problem-Solving Skills : Effective communicator with a proactive approach to resolving issues and improving processes. What are we offering? Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 base salary.
