Year 3 Teacher – Primary School (Leeds) Full-Time | Immediate / March Start | Until End of Academic Year Leader Education are recruiting a Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Leeds from March until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time role within a supportive school environment where staff work collaboratively to ensure all pupils can succeed. The Year 3 class includes a number of pupils with SEND, so experience supporting children with additional needs will be beneficial. The school is looking for a confident and adaptable teacher who can create an engaging classroom environment while supporting pupils with a range of learning needs. The Role You will be responsible for delivering the Year 3 curriculum while supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. Responsibilities include: Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum Differentiating learning to support pupils with SEND Creating a positive and structured classroom environment Supporting pupils’ emotional regulation and engagement with learning Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies where required Working collaboratively with the wider school team to support pupil development The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a teacher who is: Qualified with QTS or equivalent Experienced teaching within Key Stage 2 Confident supporting pupils with SEND within a mainstream classroom Patient, adaptable, and able to differentiate learning effectively Available full-time from March until July ECTs are welcome to apply if they have experience supporting SEND pupils during placements.
