DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Service Parts Associate to join our team specializing in our Service Department in our North Lanarkshire office.
This is a permanent position site-based working
1. Monday to Friday to (1 hour lunch)
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
2. Enhancing Customer Experience: By promptly assisting our service department with identification and ordering of parts for our field service engineers. Also at times dealing with walk-in and call-in customers with their parts needs, youll ensure a smooth and satisfying service experience.
3. Supporting Operational Efficiency: Your role in sourcing and locating parts efficientlyespecially complex requestswill help technicians and internal teams stay productive and on schedule.
4. Maintaining Safety Standards: By complying with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and using proper protective equipment, youll contribute to a safe and compliant workplace.
5. Strengthening Internal Collaboration: Working closely with technicians and other parts personnel, youll help streamline processes and improve team coordination.
6. Driving Revenue Opportunities: Your ability to identify and act on upsell opportunities for supporting products and services will directly support business growth.
7. Ensuring Inventory Accuracy: Through tasks like managing stock levels, shipping/receiving, and core processing, youll help maintain a well-organized and reliable parts inventory.
8. Upholding Professional Standards: Keeping the customer parts area and warehouse clean and presentable reflects positively on the company and enhances the customer experience.
9. Escalating Issues Effectively: By recognizing when to escalate customer concerns to senior staff, youll help resolve issues efficiently and maintain service quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
10. Strong system and process knowledge: Be proficient in using SAP systems to identify and order parts, manage the consumables list, and handle order life cycle tasks accurately and efficiently.
11. Customer-first mindset: Build strong relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions by communicating clearly, responding promptly, and demonstrating proactive support throughout the order process.
12. Hands-on operational readiness: Be prepared to drive a forklift (with a current license or willingness to obtain one) and occasionally assist with delivering or collecting partsadding flexibility and value to the team.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
14. Warehouse/stocking identifying part and diesel engine knowledge would be desired.
15. Proficient in SAP systems.
16. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports, and advanced level computer skills.
17. Requires some work experience or intermediate level of knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
