Job Summary:
To be fully responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and optimising stock management across multiple regions and marketplaces worldwide. This role ensures inventory is accurately maintained, purchase orders and shipments are managed effectively, and stock issues are resolved promptly. The Global Stock Manager leads two Stock Assistants and the warehouse function, managing the Warehouse Manager and their team to drive operational efficiency, compliance, and stock flexibility to support overall sales growth.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead Global Stock Operations covering the following elements:
* Oversee stock management across multiple regions, ensuring accurate inventory, timely order fulfilment, and optimal stock levels.
* Team management ensuring accountability, training, and operational efficiency.
* Supervise creation, tracking, and resolution of purchase orders and supplier queries, ensuring smooth supply chain operations. Including FBA shipments, warehouse operations and compliance with company policies.
* Manage overage, excess, and aged stock, prioritising platforms, clearance processes, and campaigns to maximise sell-through and minimise holding costs.
* Ensure stock systems, reporting, and customs requirements are up to date, with discrepancies resolved and processes continuously improved.
Personal Specification:
Proven experience in stock management, supply chain, or operations at a global scale.
Strong analytical and forecasting skills with advanced Excel/ERP knowledge.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of import/export regulations and international logistics is highly desirable.
