The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) is seeking a resident doctor for a National Wellbeing Research Fellowship.
We are excited to have been awarded a grant by the Medical Protection Society (MPS) Foundation to undertake national research into reducing burnout and supporting the wellbeing of resident doctors in the NHS. This research project aims to improve national understanding of how to reduce burnout and support the wellbeing of NHS Resident Doctors with a specific focus on Resident Doctors working in Medical specialties across the UK. This project builds on the outcomes of the NHS England-funded Wellbeing Fellowships (2023-25) published research (Emery, Rowlandson, Acharya & Fox, 2025.Future Healthcare Journal).
