Position: Vehicle Prepper
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Corby
Salary: £14.48 - £15.55 per hour
Pure Staff Ltd are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Prepper to join our client's Bodyshop team in Corby.
This role plays a vital part in the daily production of the Bodyshop department, helping to achieve production targets while ensuring vehicles are finished to the highest customer standards. You will be working across a range of vehicles, from small family cars to light commercial vehicles, within a professional and supportive team environment.
Your Role as a Vehicle Prepper
* Preparing vehicles for paint, including masking, sanding and priming panels
* Checking prepared panels to ensure there are no defects
* Working on a range of vehicles including cars and light commercial units
* Following set processes and standards to deliver high-quality, cost-effective work
* Supporting the Bodyshop team in other areas when required
* Checking all work prior to starting to ensure repair standards are met
* Completing accurate parts requisitions
* Working efficiently to meet deadlines and production targets
* Maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Bodyshop Technician / Vehicle Prepper
* Full valid UK driving licence (manual & automatic) - essential
* Must be 21+ and have held a driving licence for at least 2 years (insurance requirements)
* Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
* Excellent attention to detail
* Passion for the motor industry and pride in producing high-quality work
* Willingness to support junior technicians when required
Pay & Shifts
* £14.48 - £15.55 per hour
* Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 16:00
