Job Summary

As the Executive Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring a safe, sanitary environment for staff at Lincoln Memorial University (LMU). You will prepare or supervise meal preparation following corporate standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity for energetic culinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan menus according to guidelines
* Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation standards; complete production worksheets and taste meals for quality
* Train staff in food prep, safety, and sanitation
* Maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules
* Manage inventory within guidelines
* Decide on leftover food utilization
* Comply with health and sanitation regulations
* Follow safety policies and participate in meetings and training
Preferred Qualifications
* A.S. degree or equivalent experience
* 3-5 years of culinary/kitchen management experience
* Catering experience a plus
* Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations
* Hands-on chef experience required
* Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, and food cost controls
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email
* ServSafe certification preferred
