Laboratory Technician – ALS
ALS Laboratories are looking for Laboratory Technician(s) to support their Microbiology department at ALS Sittingbourne. The successful candidate will be testing a diverse range of finished food products and associated ingredients using a variety of analytical techniques.
Days Per Week: 4 on/4 off 9am to 9pm
Contract: Full Time and Permanent
Annual Salary: £25,834 + £2000 location allowance per annum

Responsibilities
* Perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology
* Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency
* Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment
* Ensure the workstation is always clean and tidy
* Conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health and safety procedures and protocols
* Keep accurate records
Essentials
* Previous laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential
* Ability to read, understand and implement instructions accurately is vital
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral
* Keen eye for detail
* Possess excellent time management skills
* Methodical in your approach
