Trade Compliance Specialist Location: East Yorkshire Salary: Up to £40,000 Type: Full-time | Permanent This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially aware and detail-focused compliance professional to join a well-established organisation operating within a highly regulated international environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all import, export and trade compliance activities are carried out in line with UK and international regulations. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with UK export control and international trade regulations Support import/export activities including customs documentation and classification Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation Liaise with internal stakeholders, freight forwarders and external agencies Monitor regulatory changes and advise the business on compliance impacts Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives Assist with licence applications and management of controlled goods where applicable Provide guidance and training to internal teams on trade compliance matters The Person: Previous experience within a trade compliance, customs or export control role Strong understanding of import/export regulations and customs procedures Knowledge of HMRC requirements and international trade legislation Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally Experience within manufacturing, engineering, aerospace or industrial sectors would be advantageous What's on Offer: Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience Opportunity to join a reputable and growing business Supportive and collaborative working environment Career development opportunities Competitive benefits package
