Data Analyst – Nature Recovery & Water Resources

Allen & York are partnering with Water Resources East (WRE) to recruit a Data Analyst passionate about using data to address environmental and water resource challenges.
You will contribute to WRE’s Regional Water Resources Plan and catchment-scale Environmental Destination investigations, focusing on nature recovery and water resilience in Eastern England.
Working with WRE’s Technical Director and team, you will manage environmental data collection, development of GIS and dashboard tools, and liaise with stakeholders including the Environment Agency and Rivers Trust.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage and improve environmental/water resource datasets and ensure data quality controls.
* Develop dashboards, GIS tools, and visualisations using Power BI, ESRI ArcGIS.
* Support data sharing platforms like SharePoint and ensure legal compliance on data licensing.
* Provide insights from models and screening tools for cross-sector planning.
* Enhance data accessibility and clarity for diverse users and stakeholders.
About you:
Experience managing complex datasets, data visualisation, and GIS software is essential. You should be detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to present data to both technical and non-technical audiences. Knowledge of Power BI, SharePoint, and ESRI ArcGIS is required.
