About The Team And The Role
Ocado is looking for an experienced Affiliate Marketing Manager to develop and execute new customer acquisition strategies across affiliate partnership activations. This hands-on role requires in-depth digital marketing expertise, an excellent understanding of the UK publisher landscape, external network & stakeholder management and management of multi-million pound annual budgets.
Additional key skills of the role are a strong understanding of affiliate tracking methodologies, strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and existing relationships with key publisher partners. This role is best suited to someone who is highly organised with confidence in managing deadlines and a varied workload.
What You’ll Do
* Working closely with the Digital Marketing channels to ensure weekly, monthly and quarterly targets are met and exceeded
* Own the Affiliate budget to ensure they are met and management appropriately
* Work closely with the Digital Marketing Lead to establish strategic priorities
* Own and develop relationships with key publishers and our Affiliate partner, activating as a key point of contact day to day
* Manage the partner relationship from start to finish, from onboarding, contracts, commission structures to reporting and payout
* Own the measurement, incrementality and reporting of the channel
* Lead ongoing optimisation of the channel, closely monitoring performance day to day
* Line management of Affiliate Executive
* Coordinate and book quarterly exposure plans across all publishers to secure presence for Ocado across a diverse range of publishers
* Work closely with Trade to ensure all key Ocado marketing moments are covered appropriately
* Work with your team to continually recruit and activate new publishers & technologies to support Ocado’s growth targets and future proof & diversify the channel
* Ensure publishers uphold a high standard and adhere to advertising guidelines
* Maintain a good profile within the Affiliate Industry, keeping up to date on industry trends and best practices
Who You Are
* Strong experience in affiliate management and strategy execution
* Target driven with a strong commercial understanding and ability to report and make decisions based on marketing KPIs
* Good understanding on measuring full customer conversion path and data driven attribution models
* Must have hands-on experience
Desirable:
* Line Management experience
* Experience in an ecommerce or retail environment (FMCG advantageous)
* Experience with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
* Experience marketing via other partners & platforms, including Google & Meta Universe
