You will manage a small, focused caseload of 45 children per day, working collaboratively with families, carers, and NHS partners to ensure safe, personalised, and effective care.
Key Responsibilities
As a Community Paediatric Nurse, you will: Provide specialist paediatric nursing care, including IV therapy, cannulation, and subcutaneous injections
Conduct clinical assessments and monitor each childs ongoing care needs
Manage a daily caseload of 45 children, ensuring continuity and quality
Communicate effectively with families, carers, and wider healthcare teams
Requirements Registered Childrens Nurse (RSCN/RCN) with an active NMC PIN
Full UK driving licence
Experience within hospital or community paediatric care
Competent in cannulation, subcutaneous injections, and clinical assessments
Phlebotomy skills are desirable
