Part time Operations Assistant / Driver - Cardiff - Plumb Centre

As an Operations Assistant based in Cardiff, you will be responsible for:
* Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations
* Responding to customer enquiries via telephone promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
* Giving price quotations to customers
* Working within the warehouse - (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)
* Delivering a variety of products such as boilers, cylinders and radiators generally
* Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring you are a positive ambassador of the Wolseley brand
* Ensuring all aspects of Health & Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load
* Loading and unloading the vehicle
* Providing support in the warehouse when not driving working as part of the team at this busy contract branch.
* Maintaining high standards of H&S within the warehouse
This is a permanent position working 20 hours a week Monday to Friday - flexible on days
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
* Proven experience as a delivery driver - LGV 7.5 Tonne
* Full clean driving license
* Warehouse experience
* Confidence to interact with customers
* Dependable, hardworking team player who is open to learning to support in all areas of the branch
* A positive and enthusiastic attitude
