The Role
We are currently recruiting for an Information Security Analyst to join the Security Team. The role is responsible for supporting the full breadth of security activities under the guidance and support of the wider Security Team. The Information Security Analyst will support assurance, compliance, and training activities, assist in the triaging and initial response to security events, and work as part of a team to provide ongoing support to business operations both in the UK and overseas. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking to start or further develop their information security career.
Key Responsibilities
The Information Security Analyst roles and responsibilities, supported by the wider Security team, include:
* Support the overall security posture of Draken Europe by engaging and working with various business functions.
* Ensure compliance with external security standards and support internal and external audit activities.
* Assist in the maintenance and development of security documentation.
* Investigate and respond to security events and incidents.
* Support system assurance activities, ensuring the secure delivery of mission systems.
* Assist with the design and delivery of security training and awareness programs.
* Ensure the continued application and adherence to security across various programs and projects.
* Understand IT & Security policies and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Maintain awareness of security best practices, developments, and threats.
* Influence the security culture of Draken Europe.
* Provide support to IT and Security projects as required.
The ideal candidate for the Information Security Analyst role should be:
* Proactive and self-motivated.
* Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
* Effective in communication, able to explain complex issues clearly.
* Experienced in delivering presentations and briefings.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
* Strong written and presentation skills.
* Possessing good interpersonal skills.
* Knowledgeable about current affairs, security events, and threats.
Desirable competencies include:
* Holding an industry-recognized security qualification.
* Previous experience in an information security role.
* Awareness of industry security standards.
