Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead our IT strategy and digital technology initiatives at Amazon. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technology transformation, enterprise architecture, AI development, cybersecurity risk management, IT operations, and client engagement. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive innovation, foster a culture of change, and ensure successful delivery of technology projects.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement IT strategies to drive digital transformation and modernization
* Lead enterprise architecture and solution design efforts to align with business goals
* Oversee the development of AI and digital solutions to enhance business capabilities
* Manage cyber and information security risk to protect company assets
* Ensure efficient IT operations and service management practices
* Drive cultural change to support technology initiatives and innovation
* Lead programme management and project delivery to meet deadlines and objectives
* Manage financials and P&L for technology projects and initiatives
* Engage with clients to understand their needs and build strong relationships
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
* Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably as a CTO or similar
* Demonstrated expertise in IT strategy, digital technology, enterprise architecture, and cybersecurity
* Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders
* Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are a plus
