Business Manager
Location: Bernhard Baron Care Home, Polegate, East Sussex Starting Salary: £42,357 Hours: Full-time, Mon–Fri (flexible working as required)

The Role We're looking for an experienced Business Manager to lead our finance, administration, IT, and marketing operations. Reporting to the Head of Home, you'll ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient systems that support high-quality care. You'll also provide strategic support to our Trustees and deputise for the Head of Home on business matters.
What You'll Do
· Oversee finance: budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and audits
· Lead procurement, supplier management, and cost control
· Manage marketing strategy and communications to maintain occupancy
· Line manage and support finance, admin, IT, and marketing teams
· Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
· Act as Data Protection Officer and oversee IT/GDPR compliance
· Support Trustees with meetings, reports, and governance processes
Who You Are
· Experienced in finance, marketing, IT, and governance
· Strong leader with excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills
· Confident working with boards/Trustees and managing change
· Trustworthy, creative, and able to motivate and support teams
· Your sense of purpose and personal ethics are as important as professional experience
