Our customer, a global professional services company, is looking for an Investigations Lead to conduct and oversee corporate compliance investigations arising from alleged misconduct reported through various channels. This is a 7-8 months' contract role.
Responsibilities include:
* Work with senior leadership to assess and address legal risks associated with investigations.
* Manage investigative teams and oversee notification, recording, and reporting processes related to investigations.
* Oversee resources to investigate allegations of misconduct related to financial and regulatory issues, including defining scope, conducting interviews, compiling reports, and recommending remedial measures.
* Ensure effective investigation processes, identify trends, and provide updates on investigation data.
* Make strategic decisions impacting the Corporate Investigations group.
* Implement global strategies set by the Global Director of Corporate Investigations.
* Provide legal advice on risks and remedial actions to senior leadership.
* Coordinate with Compliance Program leads and law enforcement agencies.
* Train and support investigative personnel and stay updated on legal developments affecting investigations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in conducting and supervising investigations, including:
* Code of Business Ethics and financial fraud investigations,
* Regulatory and governmental investigations,
* Drafting legal reports and advising on compliance risks,
* Litigation experience.
