Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioners to join our established team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in Early Childhood Education and experience working with children in a nursery setting.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for managing daily activities, fostering positive relationships with children, and supporting their developmental needs.
Duties
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development.
* Manage the daily routines of the nursery, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster strong relationships and support children's learning.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery space, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
* Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment that supports children's wellbeing.
* Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings while demonstrating leadership in your role.
Experience
* Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and families.
* Demonstrated ability to manage groups of children while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
* Leadership skills that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
