Overview
We’re seeking a Performance Marketing Specialist to provide fixed‑term maternity cover from September 2026. The role requires demonstrable hands‑on experience managing digital advertising tactics and platforms.
Responsibilities
Working as part of the Marketing & External Relations Team, you will be directly involved in creating, implementing and reporting on a solid paid media strategy that primarily drives student recruitment through effective social, search and display advertising. You will collaborate with Web Editors, Design, Social Media & Content Officer and wider University teams to ensure USPs and key messaging are driven by audience intent.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will:
* Have recent, relevant experience in hands‑on delivery of digital advertising to deliver strong results, including ad creation, build and reporting.
* Possess detailed knowledge of current digital paid media platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok) and best practice, with an eye to the future of these platforms.
* Be able to manage a substantial day‑to‑day budget.
* Have strong organisational skills and the ability to confidently manage a varied workload.
Working pattern and location
This fixed‑term maternity cover position lasts 12 months starting on 14 September 2026 and is full‑time, 35 hours per week. We are only considering full‑time applicants. The role requires attendance at weekly in‑person team meetings on our Cornwall campuses, but hybrid or UK‑based remote work may be considered.
