We are looking for a caring and proactive Level 2 Childcare Practitioner to join our welcoming early years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their childcare career who is eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact in a supportive and well-resourced nursery environment.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the daily care and learning of children aged 0–5
* Assisting with planning and delivering fun, engaging activities based on the EYFS
* Helping to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
* Building strong, supportive relationships with children, parents and the team
* Contributing to observations and the learning journey of key children
* Supporting hygiene routines, mealtimes, and outdoor play
Qualifications
* A Level 2 qualification in Childcare (or Early Years)
* Previous experience in a nursery, preschool or early years setting (preferred)
* A caring, responsible and hands-on approach
* A willingness to learn, take direction and grow professionally
* Understanding of safeguarding and basic knowledge of the EYFS
