We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN/SEMH Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive specialist school in Bournemouth. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher with a strong understanding of SEN and a desire to support students in overcoming barriers to learning.
What you will be doing:
* Deliver tailored, creative, and engaging lessons to small groups of pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.
* Develop and adapt learning materials to support individual education plans (IEP's and EHCP's)
* Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
* Patience, empathy and resilience.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
What Prospero would love from you:
* Additional training in Team Teach, or other SEMH-specific interventions.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with children with SEN and/or SEMH needs
