The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Quality Assurance Lead.

Here at Nelson and Colne College Group, as an Ofsted Graded Outstanding College, our single, most important, focus is making sure that the quality of education we provide for all of our learners continues to be Outstanding.
The successful candidate will be primarily based at Nelson but may be required to travel across sites.
You may already be involved in leading a curriculum and carrying out quality assurance activities or currently teaching and want your next career move to be into Quality.
If this sounds like you, this is an exciting opportunity to become involved in maintaining our Outstanding range of programmes and to be closely involved in the further development and implementation of effective quality strategies that inform excellent outcomes for all of our learners.
What You Will Be Doing
* Reporting into the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the monitoring and progress of attainment of skills, lead to outstanding quality of education for learners across the College Group.
* Review, monitor and report key performance indicators for the purposes of the termly Curriculum Performance Reviews and for SLT reporting purposes.
* Directed by the Quality Assurance Manager, support curriculum teams to ensure early intervention activities are implemented, in a timely and effective manner, to ensure key performance indicators are achieved.
* As directed by the Quality Assurance Manager, carry out quality assurance activities including deep dives and complete and report outcomes for all quality assurance activities.
* Report into the Quality Assurance Manager, the outcomes for the Quality Cycles across the College Group provision.
* Work with curriculum teams to support quality improvement activities following quality assurance activities, reporting on consistency and compliance.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience of working within a quality assurance framework
* Detailed knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework
* Knowledge of, and proven ability, to deliver the curriculum successfully
* Knowledge of working with Awarding Bodies and their quality assurance processes
* Experience of providing an outstanding teaching, learning and assessment experience
* Have a highly responsive, flexible and adaptable attitude
* Possess excellent communication skills
* Display initiative, be positive and enthusiastic
