What is the job role?
The Engagement and Development Officer sits within the Adult Commissioning Team and works across Adult Social Care to promote the involvement of Coventry Citizens in designing and developing services. You will play a key role in seeking people’s views on care and experience, represent Adult Social Care at key events, collaborate with wider partners, and develop approaches to seeking feedback.
Responsibilities
* Seek people’s views on care and experience through adult social care.
* Act as a representative for Adult Social Care at key events and forums.
* Collaborate across organisations and partners to ensure a wide representation of citizens and organisations.
* Develop approaches to seeking feedback with colleagues.
Qualifications
* Enthusiasm and passion to see improvements.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Experience and knowledge of adult social care (professional or personal).
* Ability to work collaboratively with citizens, carers, and key stakeholders.
* Sensitivity and empathy to the wide range of needs of Coventry residents.
* Understanding of the benefits of co‑production and stakeholder involvement.
* Confidence in speaking to a wide range of people at different forums and events.
