Linsco are delighted to recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Manager to join a well-established and forward contractor delivering a range of construction and civil engineering projects across the UK.
Due to good growth prospects and a solid outlook on upcoming projects, they are looking to bolster their site teams with experienced Civils Site Managers in the Yorkshire and Midlands areas.
This is a key role on site, responsible for driving programme, safety and quality while leading site teams and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day site operations on civils projects (earthworks, drainage, roads, structures, etc.)
* Manage subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials to ensure efficient delivery
* Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
* Maintain high standards of HSEQ in line with company and client requirements
* Liaise with clients, engineers, and internal teams
* Monitor progress against programme and report accordingly
* Ensure all site documentation and permits are in place and up to date
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering
* Strong background in infrastructure / groundwork projects
* TWC (Temporary Works Coordinator) certification
* AP (Appointed Person : Lifting Operations) certification desirable
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
* CSCS (Black or Gold Card)
* First Aid at Work
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise effectively
