Data Analyst
A specialist recruitment brief in the staffing and workforce solutions sector supporting clients across finance, retail, and technology in the United Kingdom. The role sits inside a UK-based data & analytics function and operates on a hybrid working model to balance office collaboration with remote focus time. This hire will turn operational and product data into actionable insights that drive commercial decisions.
Role & Responsibilities
* Translate business questions into clear analytical requirements and deliver concise, data-backed recommendations.
* Develop, maintain and automate dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Tableau to track KPIs and performance trends.
* Write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and validation across relational and cloud data stores.
* Perform ad-hoc analyses, segmentation, cohort and trend analyses to surface opportunities and risks for stakeholders.
* Work with engineering and data teams to document data lineage, support ETL tasks and troubleshoot data quality issues.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define measurement frameworks and ensure consistent reporting standards.
