Salary: 42,000: 48,000 Basic DOE + Vehicle + Call Out
We are recruiting for a well:established and highly regarded fire and security company covering Kent, Surrey, and South London. Known for their technical expertise, quality installations, and excellent customer service, the business provides reliable fire and security solutions to both commercial and domestic clients.
This is a local field role, covering your patch with no long:distance travel or overnight stays. Youll join a professional, supportive team that values quality workmanship, ongoing development, and strong client relationships.
Role Overview
As a Fire and Security Engineer, you will:
Install, service, and maintain Fire Alarm systems (addressable and conventional)
Install and maintain Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems
Conduct fault:finding, remedial work, and preventative maintenance
Work across a mix of commercial and domestic sites
Ensure all work complies with British Standards and client requirements
Complete accurate documentation and handovers after each visit
Deliver a professional, customer:focused service on every site
What Were Looking For
Proven experience in fire and security engineering
Strong technical knowledge across multiple system types
Excellent fault:finding, problem:solving, and installation skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
