Our client, a long-established family firm with a network of branches in the South and East of England, that supply machinery and services to the agricultural, construction and professional ground care machinery markets, are looking for a part-time Delivery Driver to join their team at the branch in Fakenham, Norfolk.

Main Purpose of the Role:
As a Delivery Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring our professional, domestic and hire customers receive their machinery safely, efficiently, and with excellent service. You will be responsible for the collection and delivery of machinery sold by the company. You may also be required to install and assemble certain equipment, ensuring it meets manufacturer guidelines and customer expectations. Your role will also include helping their busy parts department with their Parts and Gas deliveries.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Delivery Driver:
* Collect and deliver professional, domestic, and hire groundcare machinery
* Assemble machinery as required in line with manufacturer guidelines
* Promote the safe use of machinery and implements to end users
* Collect and deliver Calor Gas as required to a range of customers
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe vehicle
* Provide excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the phone
* Build positive relationships with customers and identify new opportunities
* Represent and promote the company and its products in a professional manner
* Liaise with customers and suppliers as required
* Attend training courses to maintain compliance and product knowledge
To be Considered for the Delivery Driver:
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* ADR licence is desirable
* Strong customer service skills and a professional manner
* Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative
* A team player with a smart and tidy appearance
* Good knowledge of groundcare machinery (advantageous)
* Mechanical background (advantageous)
