We have an opportunity for a Graduate Electronics Engineer to join The Cadillac Formula 1® Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role you will play a vital role in supporting the Electronics Hardware group in the delivery of on and off-car electronics projects. A Cadillac Formula 1® Team we aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team. Principal Accountabilities:
* Supporting electronic project activities including:
o Instrumentation design
o Test rig design
o Electronic hardware design
o Wiring harness design
* Supporting electronic hardware calibration and validation activities.
* Generation of technical documentation to support the introduction of new systems and updates.
* Identifying and resolving electronic system faults.
Requirements
* A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering/Electronics) or similar
* Experience with the design of low volume prototype analogue and digital electronic circuits.
* Experience with microcontrollers and bare metal programming.
* Programming experience with at least one of the following languages: C, C++ and Python. (Preferred)
* Able to perform duties in a timely manner with minimal errors under the supervision of senior staff.
* Clear and concise communication.
* Ability to prioritise in a time pressured environment and manage personal deadlines.
* Good levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
