Mon – Fri, working 07:00-15:00 & 11:00-19:00 rotating monthly
We're looking for a proactive lab technician with a solid foundation in molecular biology who's ready to grow. You'll receive comprehensive training while working on projects that genuinely matter.

You'll be:
* Working independently and collaboratively across multiple diagnostic projects
* Performing essential lab management duties, including stock monitoring, procurement, and equipment maintenance
* Executing technical procedures with precision
* Contributing to documentation, including COSHH assessments and SOPs
* Demonstrating flexibility and initiative in a fast-paced clinical environment
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Strong laboratory skills and good laboratory practice
* Experience with DNA/RNA extraction, real-time qPCR, and PCR
* Knowledge of safe sample handling protocols
* Experience in ISO15189/ISO13485 regulated environments
* Meticulous attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting abilities
* Ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks while keeping quality paramount
Desirable:
* Familiarity with NGS applications, library preparation, and target enrichment methods
* Background in genomics or molecular diagnostics
