What You'll Be Doing
Take the lead on the company's financial performance by producing accurate insights, managing budgets, and supporting long-term planning.
Work closely with leadership to provide clear, practical guidance that shapes key business decisions.
Lead and mentor a small finance team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and timely reporting.
Implement and improve internal processes and controls to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Analyse business performance, highlighting opportunities or risks to support informed decision-making.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and payroll requirements.
Play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives, helping the finance function work smarter and more effectively.If you're currently in practice and looking to step into industry, or already have experience within a commercial finance setting, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
Who We're Looking For
Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or in the final stages of your qualification journey.
Experience in a commercial finance role, ideally within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or a similar sector.
Confident communicator who can build relationships across all levels of the business and influence key stakeholders.
Highly organised, analytical, and proactive, with strong attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
Comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities and supporting the business with practical financial solutions.
What's on Offer
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Bonus: Discretionary, based on personal and company performance
