Role: Senior National Account Manager - Foodservice - QSR, HORECA, On-Trade, and Major End-Users

They now seek to appoint a Senior National Account - Foodservice within their Foodservice Division, focusing on QSR, HORECA, On-Trade, and Major End-Users.
The Role
Are you a strategic commercial leader ready to own Foodservice & OOH growth?
This is your chance to lead strategy and execution for a high-growth UK food business.
Working with the Commercial Director, you will oversee commercial plans across QSR, HORECA, On-Trade, and Major End-Users, secure new business, expand existing accounts, and drive innovation.
Core Responsibilities
* Define and execute a clear Foodservice/OOH strategy
* Lead new business acquisition and account growth
* Collaborate with NPD, Marketing, and Category teams on innovation and execution
* Manage commercial aspects including margin, mix, pricing, and promotions
* Develop customer-focused plans that deliver measurable results
Key Activities
* Manage customer relationships with full P&L responsibility, from gross margin to contribution profit
* Influence cross-functional teams to deliver account-specific initiatives aligned with strategic goals
* Develop and implement annual Joint Business Plans with customers and internal teams
* Participate actively in new product development, ensuring alignment with consumer insights and retailer strategies
* Forecast, price, and plan promotions with agility and accuracy
* Contribute to overall business planning and participate in senior leadership meetings
* Manage and mentor a National Account Executive / Junior NAM
* Evaluate post-launch performance, promotional ROI, and category strategies
* Operate with pace, precision, and emotional intelligence, influencing internal and external stakeholders
This role demands a proactive, strategic approach with the ability to execute tactically, balancing long-term vision with immediate results. You must demonstrate resilience, leadership, and a results-driven attitude.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have significant experience leading Foodservice accounts within the food industry, with opportunities for rapid career progression to Controller or Head of Department roles within a leading UK Food Business. Candidates at a slightly junior level who are leading their peer group and eager for a challenging role will also be considered.
