Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Tax Manager to join a top-tier practice. The successful candidate will manage and advise on tax matters, delivering expert solutions to a broad range of clients.
Responsibilities
* Liaising and corresponding with HMRC in respect of clearance applications, enquiries, etc.
* Drafting reports and letters of advice for a number of tax advisory issues.
* Preparing calculations to support advice.
* Liaising with clients and attending meetings with other team members.
* Training and reviewing the work of more junior members of staff.
* Providing support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group.
* Advice and implementation of corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs such as EIS/SEIS, staff incentive schemes.
* Advising owner-managed businesses regarding remuneration planning, succession planning.
* Preparation of research & development claims, VAT returns, SDLT returns.
* Advising individuals regarding IHT planning and CGT mitigation.
* Reviewing corporate tax computations and returns.
Profile / Qualifications
* A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Professional tax or accounting certification.
* Proficiency in tax advisory and management.
* Excellent project management skills.
* Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
* Exceptional client service skills.
* Proven ability to develop and implement tax strategies.
