Summary of Role & Key Responsibilities
Summary of Role
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and hard-working Group Corporate Reporting Manager. The role will report directly into the Group Finance Controller and will play a key role in establishing a high performing finance team.
This role will be responsible for the timely and accurate month end reporting, providing effective oversight and variance analysis against budget/forecast and preparing the monthly group consolidation.
Anthesis is an acquisitive business, this role will also undertake some of the more complex aspects of technical financial accounting in the business relating to IFRS 3, this includes carrying out analysis of M&A Due Diligence reports on recent acquisitions, working with acquired businesses to align and adopt group accounting policies and assisting with Purchase Price Allocation calculations.
This role requires a strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards, proven experience in managing teams, change management and working alongside external stakeholders, including auditors and external advisors.

Key Responsibilities:
* Timely and accurate preparation/review of monthly management accounts, group cashflow forecasts and variance analysis against budget / quarterly forecasts and working capital
* Leading audit engagements and the efficient and timely completion of the group audit, including preparing accounting papers of various topics
* Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with internal and external financial management and regulatory requirements, including banking covenants
* Significant involvement in creating and maintaining the group consolidation and financial statements, including supporting subsidiary processes such as preparing statutory financial statements and Group structure rationalisation
* Support integration of new acquisitions into our financial reporting processes, including alignment with IFRS accounting policies, cashflow management and system migration
* Create and publish accounting policies for the group ensuring compliance with internal and International Financial Reporting Standards
* Working closely with the Group FC and NetSuite team to support and optimize other financial accounting processes in the group such as improving our intercompany set up and reconciliation process ensuring it meets the needs of a rapidly expanding Group
* Develop strong relationships with the global finance teams and support them in maintaining strong controls and accurate financial reporting. Work closely with our expanding finance team in Manlia to provide global support to the regions
* Share knowledge and where relevant coach other team members
* Provide support, where necessary to the Director of Tax and Treasury
* Collaborate on other ad hoc projects as required
Key Requirements, Skills Knowledge & Expertise
Key Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualification with strong IFRS technical capabilities
* 5+ years of relevant experience in a Group Reporting function
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proactive self-starter with first class organizational ability, who is detail oriented, and results focused, and able to oversee and support the financial administration of several projects at once
* Proactive and a committed team player
* Can work under pressure and with minimal supervision
* Can work on flexible hours to support global teams in many time zones, meet changing work environment and to meet tight deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word) is essential
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Good interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus
Desirable but not essential:
* Experience of working in a rapidly growing company
* Oracle Netsuite experience is preferred
* Accounting system, process design and implementation experience
* Change management experience
* Project accounting and management experience
