1. Responsible to the RCWO for all matters regarding messing within the unit. 2. Assist with the day-to-day running of any kitchen in use by the unit (in barracks or on the training estate). 3. Ensure that the quality, quantity, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest standard and comply with current food safety policy. 4. Assist the RCWO in making sure that all unit staff are aware of current food safety policy and ensure said policy is always implemented. 5. Provision of G4 Logistical support, as required, on the Annual Deployment Exercise (ADX), training nights and training weekends. 6. Carry out any other duties as requested by QM/RQMS/RCWO 7. Act as a role model of the British Army’s values, standards and ethos.
