Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children? We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, empathetic, and committed to helping children overcome barriers to learning in a nurturing and structured environment.
We are looking for a Primary School Teaching Assistants who is committed to creating a positive, nurturing, and engaging environment for young students. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to educate, encourage their creativity, and help them build the skills they need to succeed both in and outside the classroom.
Your Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be responsible for Preparing and assisting the Teacher, and Independently taking groups of children to complete activities, whilst helping with tasks within the classroom. You will provide a caring and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide tailored support to students, helping them to engage in learning and build confidence.
Work closely with teachers to create a supportive classroom environment.
Foster strong relationships with students, providing a listening ear and a consistent, reassuring presence.
Support students in small group settings or on a one-to-one basis, as required.
Assisting, fun, and educational lessons across all subjects
Supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of each child
Supporting a stimulating classroom environment where children are encouraged to explore and grow
Communicating effectively with parents and carers to support student progress, when needed
Requirements:
A patient, calm, and understanding nature, with the ability to build trust with students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different situations.
Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Diploma)
Enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about teaching young children.
Experienced in educational background preferred but not essential.
Patient, caring, and able to nurture the potential of every student.
A positive role model who can build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.
A team player who is open to new ideas and enjoys collaborating with others.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
