FOUNDRY is a coworking space for freelancers, startups and established businesses to work from. FOUNDRY offers Private Offices and Workshop space to a fast-growing business community in Bromley.
This role will be working closely with the Memberships Manager and Buildings Manager.
Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting customers, and providing information about our services. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills.
About this role:
Pay: £32K Pro rata
Location: FOUNDRY Bromley, Crayfields Business Park
Hours: Part Time – 32 hours per week
*With a contract review at 6 months
Reporting to: Buildings Manager
Responsibilities:
Operational:
* Managing the front desk, welcoming guests, visitor management, customer assistance, mail and deliveries, maintaining reception area, security monitoring.
* Assist in overseeing all aspects of daily operations including opening / closing of the workspace.
* Assist in coordinating with the facilities /maintenance / cleaning teams to address maintenance and repair needs promptly.
* Ensuring all kitchens, bathrooms, and communal spaces are always kept clean and tidy.
* Help conduct weekly fire alarm checks.
Member Experience:
* Collaborate with the Buildings Manager and Operations team to plan and execute engaging events, workshops, and networking opportunities.
* Being the first point of contact for all visitors and members to FOUNDRY.
* Assist in connecting members to others within the community.
Community Building:
* Build relationships with the Bid, Chamber of Commerce, local council and any other relevant business groups.
* Build relationships with key local businesses and community stakeholders.
* Support with attracting new members and retain existing ones, contributing to the growth of the coworking community.
* Support the marketing team with social media posting (training provided).
* Assist with the organisation of member events.
Experience:
* Previous experience in reception work, coworking space management, hospitality, or related industries is desirable.
* Experience in maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a diverse member community.
* Problem-solving attitude and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
* Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy.
* Passion and understanding for the FOUNDRY mission.
* IT Competent, ideally familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Office and experience in CRM systems
