Location – United Kingdom (hybrid working, remote plus travel)

Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Salary up to £40,469 plus generous benefits package

The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service dedicated to the nuclear industry. We’re looking for a Contracts Oversight Manager to work within the Professional Services team, supporting the contract management lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in developing terms and conditions, overseeing large and complex contracts, and hold the CIPS Contract Management Certification. Experience in creating business systems and processes, managing commercial contract disputes, and collaborating with Procurement, Legal Services, Security, and senior management is essential. The role involves reporting on performance, identifying trends, contributing to strategy and risk management, and providing support and guidance to contract managers. Some high-risk, high-value contracts may be directly managed.


Role Responsibilities:

1. Ensure effective performance and supplier management
2. Conduct stakeholder analysis and mapping to establish key suppliers and contracts
3. Identify potential risks or opportunities for the organization
4. Challenge contract delivery against KPIs and SLAs
5. Develop a responsibility assignment matrix for contracts
6. Design and recommend standards for contract management training and competence
7. Develop mechanisms for ongoing alignment with key functional leads during contract lifecycle
8. Create best practice guidance on supplier performance management and dispute resolution
9. Collaborate with Procurement on developing standard contract terms

This role is suitable for remote working with travel across CNC sites as required.
