We are recruiting a band 6/7 clinical pharmacist to join our friendly and supportive pharmacy team. B oth band 6 and band 7 applicants are welcomed. The post offers an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic pharmacist looking to develop their clinical skills. This post provides an ideal opportunity for either a newly qualified pharmacist (with hospital pharmacy experience) or an existing and ambitious band 6 pharmacist looking for a band 7 post. We will support you in your professional development .
This post is a full time, 12-month fixed term contract and based at Prospect Park Hospital, in leafy Reading, 30 mins by train from London Paddington and Waterloo stations. We offer free onsite parking, top staff accommodation less than a 5-minute walk from your base.
You will be expected to deliver a consistently high-quality clinical pharmacy service across community and mental health inpatient wards
Work alongside the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT)
Be an integral part of the pharmacy team providing clinical pharmacy support to designated ward(s) and participate in the pharmacy departmental rota's

The "must haves" for this role:
Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacist
Postgraduate clinical qualification and hospital experience to be considered for band 7
Have a flexible approach to work in order to meet the developing needs of the pharmacy service
