Finance Accountancy Officer needed in Colwyn Bay Paying £14.36 per hr ref OR12674 Full time hours on a temporary basis We are looking for a skilled and motivated Finance Accountancy Officer to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, who thrives in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support budgeting and forecasting processes. Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts. Process invoices, payments, and journal entries. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve financial queries. Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements. Requirements: AAT qualified or equivalent; progression towards ACCA/CIMA is a plus. Previous experience in a finance or accountancy role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks). Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
