We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our team in Cardiff, located inside John Lewis.

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for achieving retail sales targets, developing a team of motivated Travel Experts, and expanding the store’s customer base (full job specification available upon request).
What We Are Looking For:
* Experience managing a retail travel store with profit and staff responsibilities
* Proven track record of delivering sales results and excellent customer service
* Attention to detail in booking checks and holiday pricing
* Strong communication skills, proactive, confident, and forward-thinking
* Ability to motivate and lead a team, especially under pressure
* Passion for travel with extensive firsthand destination knowledge
* Experience working with third-party suppliers
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
* Understanding of sales and commercial aspects of tour operating
* Knowledge of travel reservation systems
* Achievement in meeting sales targets and delivering customer service
* Customer-centric approach and brand representation skills
* Adaptability, resourcefulness, and a positive attitude
