Overview
Job Title: Principal Cyber Analyst
Location: Cambridge or London Office, with expected attendance of 2 days a week.
What Will I Be Doing
* Use the Darktrace suite of products to prepare and present a variety of customer-facing reports.
* Investigate and communicate critical information about potential threats, ongoing compromises, and retrospective analysis of incidents internally and externally to clients.
* Real-time analysis of emerging threats in the SOC team.
* Represent Analyst work and cyber security principles both internally and externally as required.
* Lead customer facing engagements.
* Act as a subject matter expert.
* Proactively share knowledge to mentor and guide junior professionals.
* Contribute to impactful projects that require an understanding of the wider business.
* Collaborate with a broad internal network to influence a variety of stakeholders at an operational level.
* Identify areas for continuous improvement.
This is a fast-paced role, so you need to be organized, proactive, adaptable to change and comfortable wearing multiple hats.
What Experience Do I Need
* Have previous experience in a Cyber, Research, Intelligence or Analysis role.
* Deep technical knowledge of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
* Be a team player with demonstrable aptitude at sharing knowledge and mentoring.
* Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, with strong analytical and time management skills.
* Excellent communication skills, including both oral and written.
* Be a strong tactical decision-maker, handling unforeseen issues and complex decisions.
