In addition, you will learn how to make the most out of a carcass - essential in maximising production - and why packaging and presentation is also critical in delivering a quality product to the Company’s clients. Your Apprenticeship will enable you to achieve nationally recognised qualifications as well as gaining membership of the Institute of Meat (IoM). The training you will be getting Your Apprenticeship will take 18 months to complete and on successful completion you will be awarded: Level 2 Food Safety Award Level 2 Health & Safety in the Food Chain Supply Award Level 2 Knife Skills Award Training will be delivered by our skilled butchers and via remote learning at our Ulverston site.
