An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated administrators to join our friendly Nursing Administration team in the Integrated Care Directorate at Velindre Cancer Centre on a part-time basis. The Nursing Administrator role is to work as a member of the nursing administration team with a focus on inpatient and day care services. The post holder will carry out reception, clerical and any relevant non-clinical duties which assist the nursing, medical staff and patients. We are therefore, seeking a skilled, reliable and highly organised individual with excellent communication and organisation skills.
The post holder requires experience of Microsoft Office packages World, Excel and PowerPoint; excellent organisational abilities and the capability to work in a confidential manner are of paramount importance in this role. The ability to communicate effectively as part of a team; to work well under pressure and to prioritise the demands in a busy environment are also essential. The post holder will need to be extremely flexible as the role will involve covering different ward reception areas along with chemotherapy administration duties as and when required. The role will involve the postholder working days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays (on a rota basis).
