Senior Business Development Manager – leading the business development and client development team for the insurance sector in innovative law firm.

In this role you will lead on all business development and client management for the insurance group.
Specifically, the role will involve:
* Working with the leadership as a trusted advisor on the business development strategy for the insurance group;
* Driving the key client programme for the insurance sector;
* Playing an advisory role to the partners around targeting and cross-selling and supporting them to do this;
* Developing the firm’s international network of law firms to drive collaboration and referrals;
* Using data to drive business development initiatives;
* Working with he marketing team on campaigns and profile raising initiatives for the group;
* Leadership of the insurance BD and client team.
You will have significant experience in a business development/client relationship role in a major law firm or accounting firm and please note that INSURANCE SECTOR EXPERIENCE IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE. You will have a real passion for the insurance industry as well as having the drive and energy to galvinise the partnership. Experience of managing an experienced team is also essential for this role.
