Our staff are at the heart of everything we do. We have an exciting career opportunity for a Phlebotomist within our clinic in the John Lewis store in High Wycombe.
What does the Randox Health team do?
We encourage a personalised, preventative approach to health and well-being. Using Randox technology we measure hundreds of health biomarkers, generating data that can help predict future health concerns and identify early signs of illness. This enables individuals to act sooner to prevent or delay disease onset.
Location: John Lewis Ground Floor, Holmers Farm Way, High Wycombe, HP12 4NW.
Contract Offered: Part-time, Permanent
Working Hours / Shifts: 32 hours per week, across 4 days, Monday to Sunday, including early and late shifts.
Health & Safety: You must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage. In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
What does this role involve?
This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic and for taking blood samples from private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS).
* Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent.
* Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation.
* Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments.
* Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic.
* Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
* Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately.
* Demonstrate high IT literacy to manage various software systems and daily tasks.
* Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
* Exemplary customer service skills and experience.
* Ability to manage existing clientele and generate new clientele.
* Experience in a private healthcare setting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft packages.
* Confidence and experience working at internal and external events.
