Office and Finance Administrator
£25k - £35k per annum

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys juggling numbers and people perfect for someone who loves a bit of everything: bookkeeping, problem-solving, admin, and making sure the office ticks like clockwork.
What Youll Be Doing
Finance & Bookkeeping
Keep financial records sharp and up-to-date using Xero
Process invoices, receipts, and expense claims with precision
Create and send customer invoices
Prepare payroll information for our accountant
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Chase outstanding payments and manage customer accounts
Support VAT returns and year-end accounts
Manage petty cash and office expenses
Office & Admin Support
Be the first point of contact: handle calls, emails, and post
Maintain well-organised digital and physical filing systems
Schedule appointments and manage team calendars (including holidays)
Coordinate meetings, book rooms, and arrange refreshments
Keep the office stocked and liaise with suppliers
Arrange equipment repairs and maintenance
Support basic HR admin and maintain employee records
Jump in on general admin tasks and special projects
What Were Looking For
Essential
At least 2 years experience in a finance or bookkeeping role
Comfortable with Xero or similar accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
Strong Excel skills and general tech-savviness
Impeccable attention to detail and a head for numbers
Clear communicator, written and verbal
Self-starter with great time management
Familiar with basic accounting principles
Trustworthy with confidential information
Nice to Have
AAT qualification (studying or qualified)
Knowledge of VAT procedures and payroll
Previous experience managing an office
GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above)
