The vacancy
Are you passionate about supporting young people to gain valuable experience in the workplace? We're looking for a proactive and organised Work Placement Co-Ordinator to join our dedicated team at DN Colleges Group.
In this rewarding role, you'll play a key part in helping students access high-quality work placements that enhance their learning and career prospects. You'll work closely with curriculum teams, employers, and students to ensure placements are safe, meaningful, and well-supported.
We are currently recruiting for two Work Placement Co-Ordinator positions within our team.
Actual Salary: £22,308.10 per annum
Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday (8:30am - 5:00pm) Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm) / 35.5 hours per week / 38 weeks per year
Key Responsibilities
* Organise and develop new and existing work placements across curriculum areas.
* Carry out Health & Safety assessments and support safeguarding in placement settings.
* Brief students and staff on the placement process and expectations.
* Maintain accurate records and employer databases.
* Monitor placement progress and resolve any issues that arise.
Essential Criteria
* A relevant qualification and strong IT skills (Word, Excel).
* Experience working with 14–19-year-olds and within the education sector.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and planning abilities.
* A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

The LET's Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
